Alyssa Kutsukos
Registered Intern
Hi! My name is Alyssa Kutsukos and I am a registered mental health counselor intern with a unique background in both mental health and behavioral services. I received my master's in mental health counseling from the University of Central Florida and a graduate certificate in behavioral analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology.
Since early 2020 I have had the privilege of providing ABA (applied behavioral analysis) therapy to children & teens diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. My behavioral background grants me a specialized toolset to better assist your needs. In addition to working with children & teens on the autism spectrum, I have also provided specialized training to their caregivers. This training not only helps further the success of their child's ABA therapy, it grants parents a valuable toolset when responding to their child's behaviors.
Working in the mental health field, I have helped guide clients through a vast array of struggles. Whether you're a child, teen, or adult, I'm here to help! Some areas I have experience in include: depression/depressive symptoms, anxiety, grief/loss, and trauma. As someone who utilizes both psychoanalytic and CBT (Cognitive & Behavioral Therapy) approaches, we will work together to connect past unresolved traumas with today's struggles and overcome them. My goal is to guide you on a journey to better yourself and provide you with the skills to continue overcoming life's challenges after our time comes to an end. Whatever your current struggle(s) may be, I will personalize my approach to best suit your needs!
Thank you for taking the time to read about me. I look forward to working with you!
